On April 14th, Dean Chester Gillis, current interim Dean of the College, was named Dean of Georgetown College. University President John J. DeGioia, along with Provost James J. O’Donnell, made the announcement to the Georgetown community last night.

Georgetown College students showcased their science- and health-related research projects along with other local students on April 2-3 during this year’s student-organized Undergraduate Research Conference.

Georgetown College student Sebastian Johnson (C’10) became Georgetown’s 25th Truman Scholar this week when he was named among the 60 students nationwide to receive this year’s prestigious scholarship.
