    RECOVERY NEWS
    In the framework of the socio-economic recovery of Beirut Southern Suburb, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) organized a field visit to burj Al Barajneh area to launch the opening of Al Shahed Street
    Germany will contribute up to 6.5 Million EUR for the period 04/2007 to 03/2010. Out of it 650.000 EUR have been spend for urgent rehabilitation measures of the vocational training centers
    The project aims at responding in a quick and non-bureaucratic manner to the environmental damage resulting from the July 2006 war
    The German Government donated €0,65 Million to help equipping 35 public technical and vocational schools damaged directly or indirectly by the war of summer 2006
