Agriculture, Department of

  • List of Departmental Databases - The Oregon Department of Agriculture provides access to a number of databases from this page including but not limited to: Oregon Products Database, Available Livestock Brands, Oregon Veterinarians and Clinics, Wholesale Seed Dealer licenses, Agricultural Resources Directory, Pesticide Related Licenses, and Nursery and Christmas Tree Licenses.

Archives, Oregon State

  • Oregon Blue Book - The Oregon Blue Book is the official state directory and fact book about all levels of government in Oregon, and much more. Published since 1911, it is produced and updated by the Oregon State Archives, a division of the Secretary of State's Office.
  • Oregon Historic Photograph Collections - This database includes over 10,000 viewable photographs and related descriptions from the holdings of the Salem Public Library, the Oregon State Archives, and the Marion County Historical Society. The images date from the mid-1800s to the 1990s and depict a wide range of subjects such as Oregon towns, homes, businesses, occupations, scenic vistas, disasters, festivities, and recreational pursuits. The database is searchable by keyword and is maintained by the Salem Public Library.
  • Oregon Historical Records Index - According to the web site "This index includes entries compiled by examining actual records held by the Oregon State Archives. The spelling of surnames and other informationreflects the original records." These records are held by the state and by local jurisdiction. Types of records include asylum, coroner's report, probate, birth, death, naturalization, etc.

Arts Commission, Oregon

  • Gallery Guide - A comprehensive database of Oregon art galleries, searchable by name, city or keyword. Includes name, address, telephone number, hours, type of exhibit and contact name.
  • Local Arts Agencies - Provides list of local arts agencies, searchable by name and city. Includes name, address, telephone number, and in some cases fax numbers, email addresses, web sites, and persons to contact.
  • Performing Arts Sponsors - Provides directory of sponsors, searchable by name and city. Includes name, address, and telephone, and if available, email, web site, hours, policy, procedures, and exhibits.

Consumer & Business Services, Department of

  • Building Codes Division - Database of BCD business contractors, individual licenses, inspector certifications, business registration or individual registration by license number, name and profession.
  • Employer data system search Provides searchable databases for employers to check on present and future compensation insurance coverage. Includes searches by name, location, size, industry group, employees, insurer type, and liability end date.
  • Insurance Agency Search - Provides database of active Oregon insurance companies, which can be searched by name and location and/or license class. Also allows downloading of the data file and links to other insurance division reports.
  • Investment Adviser Search - A database of all investment adviser firms currently licensed to do business in the state of Oregon. Search by name or location or download a data file containing name of firm, address, phone number and license number.
  • Licenses, Permits and Registration - The Oregon License Directory provides a single information source for Oregon licenses, certifications, permits and registrations. Information on all known state licenses is available on this site, as well as links to federal license summary information and license holder lookups.
  • Mortgage Lenders - A database of licensed mortgage lenders, searchable by name or location. Also allows downloading of the data file.
  • OMWESB Certified Firms - A database of firms certified in Oregon as disadvantaged, minority, women, and emerging. Allows searches by name, certification number, location, and keyword. Also allows searches by NAIC, NIGP, or ODOT commodity codes.

Corrections, Department of

  • Sex Offender Inquiry System - Oregon law allows the Oregon State Police to make information about registered sex offenders open to the public. This database allows the user to search for sex offenders in the state of Oregon by name or location, or the user may enter an address and the database will alert them if a sex offender is residing within one mile of this address.

Education, Department of

  • Assessment Scores - Provides the most recently reported Oregon Statewide Assessment results. Search by school district, individual school, population sub-group and subjects taught.
  • School District Profiles - Provides Oregon school and school district data, searchable by year and district, and sometimes other criteria such as size of enrollment, county, spending per student, student teacher ratios, and math rank. Allows comparison of schools, school districts, and years, providing information on student enrollment and performance, demographics, staffing, average class size, instructional time, and infrastructure.

Employment Department, Oregon

  • Community Resource Directory - Provides information on Oregon workforce-related services and programs, with description and contact information, searchable by provider business name, service, city, county, and administrative region. All but the name search provide initial categories: career information, children-related services, community, counseling, education services, health and medical, housing, job openings, job training, legal services, senior services, support services, unemployment insurance, veterans services, and vocational rehabilitation.
  • Current Employment by Industry - Provides employment data for industry both for the last 12 months and for the last two months with figures for the previous year for various industries in Oregon, its counties, and metropolitan areas.
  • Employer Database - Provides information on thousands of Oregon employers. Searchable by area, industry or employer name.
  • Job Listings - Lists current Employment Department job listings. Searchable by occupation, location, job listing number or keyword.

Environmental Quality, Department of

  • Air Quality Index - Provides air quality reports by area. Color-coded graphs and tables show site, current hourly AQI, ozone and carbon monoxide levels and measurement of pollution concentration in the air.
  • Water Quality Index - Provides water quality reports by river basin. Reports include references, graphs, and tables, showing site, STORET number, river mile, summer average and FWS average. Also provides information on methodology for using the Oregon Water Quality Index (OWQI), using the OWQI to communicate water quality data, and examples of trend analysis using the OWQI.

Housing and Community Services, Oregon

  • Oregon Helps - Oregon Helps is a database that allows the user to search for any benefits or tax credits for which they may be eligible. Encompasses 28 different services, including food stamps and emergency food, housing assistance, child and family resources such as the WIC and National School Lunch programs, social security, senior and disabled services such as Medicare and Medicaid, veterans' services and the Oregon Health Plan.

Human Services, Department of

  • Baby Names Database - Each year, the Center for Health Statistics compiles a list of baby names from the birth certificates of babies born in Oregon. This database allows for searching by top 20, 50 or 100 names by year, or all names beginning with some letter or combination of letters.
  • Beach Advisory Status - Since 2003, state officials have used a federal Environmental Protection Agency grant to monitor popular Oregon beaches and make timely reports to the public about elevated levels of fecal bacteria. This interactive database provides current beach water status data.
  • Domestic Violence Assistance - Provides list of Oregon organizations offering assistance to women in domestic violence situations, searchable by map and drop-down windows for county and city. Includes name, address, telephone number, email address, and web site, as well as a list of services. Also offers online brochures on domestic violence resources.

Justice, Department of

  • Charities Database - This database can either be searched online or downloaded as a 1.5MB file. Database may be searched by name, location, home states, purpose of charity or by income or expense amounts.

Legislature, Oregon State

  • Bills and Laws Search - Searchable database of bills and laws by either full measure text or specific measure number.
  • Find your Legislator - Enter an Oregon address to find a list of the state and U.S. legislators for that area.

  • Database of Licensed Architects - The Oregon Board of Architect Examiners protects the public by licensing and regulating the practice of architecture in Oregon. This database allows the user to search for licensed architects or architectural firms by status, name, license number or location.

  • Database of Licensed Dietitians - Directory of dietitians who have been licensed in the state of Oregon for five years or more. Search by name, license number or city.

Health Licensing Agency, Oregon

  • Health Licenses Inquiry - The OHLA (Oregon Health Licensing Agency) regulates multiple health and related professions. This database provides licensing information for numerous health organizations, including the Athletic Trainer Registration Board, the Body Piercing Licensing Program, the Board of Cosmetology, the Board of Denture Technology, the Board of Direct Entry Midwifery, , Electrologists and Permanent Color Technicians, the Advisory Council on Hearing Aids, and the Respiratory Therapists Licensing Board

Medical Examiners, Oregon Board of

  • Board of Medical Examiners licensees - Provides directory of licensed Oregon medical and osteopathic physicians and surgeons, physician assistants, podiatrists, and acupuncturists, searchable by name or city.

  • Licensed Physical Therapists - Provides directory of physical therapists licensed in Oregon. Search by name, license number or city, or browse licenses by first letter of last name and state.

Veterinary Medical, Licensing Board

  • Licensed Veterinarians - Provides directory of veterinarians licensed in Oregon. Search by name, license number or city.

Parks and Recreation, Department of

  • Places to ride ATVs - This database allows the user to search for places in Oregon where it is permitted to ride ATVs. Search by county,region,season,class of ATV, and availability of camping, parking and restrooms.
  • Search for a park - Search for an Oregon state park by clicking on a region of a map of Oregon or by clicking on the appropriate box. Add details such as type of campsite or yurt, beach access, horse or hiking trails, setting (forest, desert, waterfalls, etc), events or ADA accessibility.

Revenue, Department of

  • Calculate your Kicker Refund - The kicker is a refund of surplus revenue in the state’s general fund which comes from noncorporate general fund revenue sources, such as inheritance tax, tobacco tax, etc. Individual income taxpayers who filed a 2006 tax return (residents, part-year residents and nonresidents) with a tax before credits will get a kicker - calculate it here!
  • ORMAP Imagemap - Provides map of Oregon, searchable by county, and then by township-range grid, which provides file lists of scanned taxlot maps from county assessors. Also provides links to some county assessor websites, offering other searching capabilities
  • Tax Rate Calculator - This calculator is for taxable income of $0-$100,000. The user enters their taxable income and filing status and receives an estimate of tax payable.

Tourism Commission, Oregon

  • Travel Oregon - This website provides information on natural places of beauty, lodging, outdoor activities and attractions. Databases allows users to search for hotels, B&B's, resorts, RV parks and outdoor adventures.Also available is a searchable calendar of local and regional events taking place throughout Oregon.

Transportation, Department of

  • Tripcheck - Provides information regarding the current status of road conditions throughout Oregon, as well as links to commercial airports, rideshare opportunities, public transit systems and bicycle information. Includes current weather conditions and maps showing rest areas, sno-parks, scenic byways and road cams.

Treasurer, Oregon State

  • Find your Unclaimed Property - This database allows the user to search for such assets as uncashed payroll checks, stock and bonds, safe-deposit box contents, insurance proceeds or refunds and bank accounts which may have been held by the state.
  • Tomorrow's Money - Plan your finances step-by-step by entering your income, savings and spending habits into this database, which will then give you comprehensive investment and budget advice as well as advice on how to reduce or eliminate debt.

University of Oregon Libraries

  • Data for Local Communities - This database contains records for State of Oregon or other websites containing statistical, spatial and descriptive data about the cities and counties of Oregon and Washington. Many of the sites are access points for agency databases.

Water Resources Department

  • Historical Streamflow Data - Provides historical graphic statistics on streamflows in Oregon, searchable by basin, hydrological unit, gaging station, and date range. Includes searchable watershed and hydrological unit maps, with information on gaging stations, including number and description, township, range and section, longitude and latitude, and date range of available data from which to search.
  • Real Time Streamflow Information - Provides links to sites, mostly U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), and U.S. Bureau of Reclamation (USBR), giving preliminary realtime streamflow data. USACE and USBR provide graphic data in cubic feet over a course of days, and USGS data also includes station number and name, location (including map), drainage area, period of record, gage, remarks, and extremes for period. Offers a choice of discharge or gage height parameters, as well as a choice of output format and number of days.
  • Water Resources Web Mapping Program - Allows the user to view water rights and other pertinent information such as ground water limited areas, watermaster districts, water availability basins, etc. Browse by basin, search for a township, or search for an application using this program.
  • Well Log Query - Provides searchable database for well log information. Searchable by township, range, and section, county, constructor, owner name, company, completed and received dates, start card, well log ID, well tag, and taxlot numbers. Results also provide street of well, first water, completed depth, static water level, and yield.
