Tips for Searching: By keywords

You can use some of our operators to help you refine your results. Just type the operator and a colon, followed by a keyword, to find articles with a specific headline, body text, or URL. You can search:

  • By keywords in the body text. You can use the "allinbody" operator to search only for keywords in the body of an article. For example, if you want to find all articles with the word "gold" in the body text, you'd type [ allinbody:gold ].
  • By keywords in the headline. You can use the "allintitle" operator to search for an article with a specific headline. For example, you'd type [ allintitle:lemur ] to receive articles with the keyword "lemur" in the headline.
  • By keywords in the URL. You can use the "allinurl" operator to search for keywords in the URL of an article. For example, if you wanted to find all articles with "politics" in the URL, you'd type [ allinurl:politics ].
