The MAG is fitted with a quick change barrel which makes replacement of a hot barrel possible in less than 6 seconds.
Also, the MAG fires from an open breech, which suppresses any risk of cook-off.
Long Range Capability
The MAG machine gun fires 7.62x51mm NATO rounds which are perfectly suited to medium machine gun applications and offer an effective range upto 1,000m when fired from a bipod or up to 1,500m when fired from a tripod.
Highly Reliable and Accurate
Throughout the years, the MAG machine gun has proven reliability in all combat conditions.
This is achieved thanks to:
- An adjustable gas regulator
- A primary extraction
- A two-step feed
- long life of major parts
The MAG machine gun also provides superiority on the battlefield during defensive or offensive operations.
