Martin Luther King Drive is located in the crest of hill that forms what remains of the Palisades Mountain in Southern Jersey City. The station has two side platforms, located at the eastern side of MLK Drive, the only entrance to both of the platforms except for a small plaza that has public artwork as well as an entrance along the northbound one.
