Longtime NHS Professor Dies

Rose McGarrity, a longtime, beloved faculty member and administrator at the School of Nursing & Health Studies, died on Oct. 12. An NHS professor emeritus, McGarrity devoted more than five decades of service to Georgetown as a teacher and administrator, receiving an honorary degree from the university in 1989.
