The error in the statistics for net lending/borrowing for the local government sector published on March 1 has been corrected 24 March 2010, at 3 pm.

Gross domestic product from the production side shows how the sum of value added is distributed over sectors and activities. Gross domestic product on the expenditure side shows how GDP is distributed with respect to consumption, capital formation and foreign trade. The quarterly national accounts are compiled from a less comprehensive set of materials than the detailed annual national accounts and the first results are released 60 days after the end of the period. The sum of four quarters equals preliminary annual figures for the years without detailed annual figures. The detailed annual figures are published after 23 months. Constant prices reference year 2000 are chained series and thus not additive.
Quarterly non-financial sector accounts are from 2009q1 and onwards published at the same date as GDP quarterly. Information is provided for the sectors corporations, government, households and the rest of the world. A further breakdown into non-financial and financial corporations is published within 90 days of the period in question (see exact date in the Publishing calendar).
In connection with the publication of the figures from the major revision of National Accounts, detailed annual calculations for the period 1993-2007, 6 May 2010, new quarterly figures including q4 2009 will be published on this page, i.e. www.scb.se/NR0103-en both as new tables and graphs as well as in the Statistical database. The publication BNP kvartal will not be updated until the regular publication of q1 2010, 28 May 2010.
The table labour costs, by industrial classification SNI 2002, current prices, have been corrected 4pm 1/3-2010 due to wrong estimates for 2009 for market producers and producers for own final use, figures for the total economy and goverment have not been affected.
Correction Net lending/borrowing for local government 2009, non-financial sector accounts
Net lending/borrowing for local government for 2009 has been corrected compared to published figures on 1 March. The corrected figures show that net lending/borrowing amounted to SEK -2.2 billion. The incorrect figure which was earlier published amounted to SEK +2.4 billion. This error does not affect GDP for the 4th quarter of 2009 or the annual figure for 2009.
