Today’s auction of credit in Swedish krona with a maturity of six months has now been completed

The amount auctioned in today’s auction was SEK 100 billion. The total amount of bids was SEK 65.5 billion. The total allotment was SEK 65.5 billion. The lowest accepted rate in the bids given was set at 5.150 per cent.

The allotment will however be made at 4.650 per cent. This means that the rate will be 0.5 percentage points lower than what would have been the case if today’s decision made by the Executive Board to decrease the repo rate had not been taken. The reason is that the conditions set this morning have been affected by the decision to decrease the repo rate by 0.5 percentage points.

Because of the change in the preannounced conditions for the auction, participants have the possibility to withdraw their bids. This will not affect the allotment of the other participants. Confirmation of the allotments must be made by 1.30 pm CET/CEST at the latest.

Additional information was published today at 1:00 pm CET/CEST in SAXESS/OMFIE on page RIKP.
