The No. 13/11 Georgetown women's basketball squad will visit the No. 1/1 University of Connecticut Huskies on Saturday at noon at XL Center in Hartford, Conn. The Blue & Gray is second in the BIG EAST standings with two games remaining in conference play and has already secured a first-round bye for the conference tournament. The game is the BIG EAST Women's Basketball Game of the Week and will be televised live on SNY as well broadcast on tape delay on MASN at 10 p.m. Saturday evening. Beth Mowins will provide the play-by-play and Brooke Weisbrod will be the analyst.
The Georgetown University men's basketball team returns home to Verizon Center on Saturday, Feb. 27, hosting BIG EAST rival Notre Dame. Tipoff is slated for noon at The Phonebooth. The game will be shown live on CBS, with Tim Brando and Mike Gminski calling the action. It can be heard locally on ESPN 980 AM.
The Georgetown University baseball will play a three-game series as scheduled this weekend, but will play local rival George Mason University.
