History

Established in 1998 in offices above the Mr Bongo Record store in Soho, London, 3ev began life working for The Economist and European Bank (EBRD) alongside delivering ecommerce for a multitude of Soho music stores.

Many of our first clients are still with us and have been joined by clients from throughout the world and across many industries.

2002 saw us start our involvement with TYPO3, the Open Source CMS. We quickly became recognised for providing large solutions for the public sector including the NHS, the ODPM and several local councils. Since then our TYPO3 work has been central to what we do, our involve front-end interface for TYPO3 makes everyday management of any TYPO3 site a breeze.

In 2003 we started writing on internet technology and design in the internet press, and we're constantly writing on web technologies and best practices, design, UX.

In 2004 we moved to Brighton because we wanted to be beside the seaside where we have been happy for the past five years.

Because we're a little vain, we like recognition. Our work on The Chemical Brother's website and Facebook app won us the BT Digital Award in 2007. In 2008 Google featured us in their "Google Maps" booklet for the work we've done with Google Maps.

Our growing team comprises a mix of the young, gifted and geeky.

We like our pictures big and our music loud.
