The snow is finally gone -- but its effect on our rivers will be felt for many months to come. Dirty water, salt, debris, trash, and raw sewage are flowing into the rivers in large amounts thanks to the snow and heavy rain of recent weeks. We learn more about how it's affecting the Anacostia River and hear about new legislation to help clean up local waterways.
