Summer has begun in our home so I made up a
reading goals certificate for my teen and her sister. When I was in the middle of making it, I thought you all out there may be able to use it too. So I saved it as a .pdf file and uploaded it. It's free for your personal use. Fill out what your teen will earn at the top and how many books they need to read by the end of the summer to earn it. When thinking about how many books you want your teen to read, keep in mind that it is summer. The goal is not to push them, but to motivate them to do something they will enjoy. You are teaching them the entertainment value of reading.
