Additional Tips: Links to articles

If the links to your articles are too long, too short or not permanent, we may not be able to include them in Google News. For example, it may be difficult for us to crawl an article if the link is comprised of an entire paragraph or snippet from the article. Similarly, if the only links to your articles are both not permanent or are comprised of one word only, we may not be able to include them in Google News either.

Restricting hyperlinks to your headlines, or having permanent links comprised of more than one word, should increase the likelihood of your articles being included in Google News.
