Children's Clothing Consignment Sale in Deer Park

Looking to buy or sell children's clothes and toys at great prices? The Kids Kloset, founded by Long Island mom Gail Roca, is hosting a two-day consignment sale in both Nassau and Suffolk.

The Suffolk sale will be held Friday, April 29, 2011 (VIP presale--pre-registration required for this sale. Details on the website.) through Sunday, May 1, 2011 at the Center Island Sports Complex, 101 Union Avenue, Ronkonkoma (directly off 495/LIE).

The Nassau sale will be held Friday May 13, 2011 (same as above-VIP Presale)-Sunday, May 15, 2011 at the Mitchel Field Indoor Athletic Complex in Uniondale/Garden City.

These sales will feature more than 35,000 gently used and new clothing items, toys, books, movies, CDs, baby gear, furniture, sporting equipment and more. This event is visited by thousands of Long Island families.

On Earth Day, Friday, April 22, 2011, participating Starbucks stores will give you your choice of free coffee or tea if you bring in a reusable mug or tumbler.

If you don't have a tumbler or travel mug, you can purchase one at Starbucks for 20 percent off on Earth Day. (And fyi, any time you bring in your own travel mug or tumbler to participating Starbucks stores, you'll get 10 cents off your beverage.)

And if you haven't brought in a mug or tumbler and don't wish to purchase one? Then just request your free coffee or tea in Starbucks "for-here" cups.
