Michael Lohan takes first step in establishing conservatorship over Lindsay

PrintLindsay Lohan’s father took the first step in attempting to establish a conservatorship over his daughter, entertainment website TMZ reported Monday.
Michael Lohan reportedly told his troubled daughter that he would go to court to establish a conservatorship unless she agreed to meet with him. TMZ reported the actress refused to sit down with her father but asked him in a text message if he would help her repair ties with a club that banned her after she threw a glass at ex-girlfriend Sam Ronson.

TMZ also reported Monday that Lindsay’s landlord contacted the actress’ lawyer after Michael caused a disturbance at Lindsay’s West Hollywood apartment last weekend.
“In light of the landlord’s concerns, I may go to court to keep Michael away,” attorney Shawn Chapman Holley told TMZ.
Michael went to Lindsay’s apartment for the first time last week, accompanied by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, to check on his younger daughter Ali’s welfare. Sixteen-year-old Ali is staying with her sister Lindsay.
Michael has claimed Lindsay is addicted to prescription drugs. The actress is also reportedly $600,000 in debt and was recently dropped from her role in the film "The Other Side."

She may need to clean herself up,but the bigger issue is her father.I believe it has gotten to the point where he is harrassing her,and could be a danger.He has hit her when she was younger,as well as hitting other females.This guy is an ex-con.She needs to get a restraining order pronto,and legal advice on his stalking,harrassing,and slandering.He is out of control,and it is getting worse.He is hurting her with all of this,NOT helping.He is only interested in helping himself.Do something about this LL,he is starting to go after your sis now.

She's broke, she just lost one of the only jobs she has been offered in a few years, her dad wants to take over her life and she is worried about being banned from a bar?
I know she has a lot of problems (that's an understatement) but her father is bad news. I honestly think a stranger would be better at helping her than michael lohan. He calls the press every time Lindsay calls him or he calls her. He brought along a whole crew of paparazzi when he went to Lindsay's apartment. And then when he got there, nothing bad was going on
Lindsay needs to call Dr Drew and go on his addiction program. She'll earn some money and hopefully learn to make the right choices which would include never seeing her horrible, horrible father who is just trying to make a buck off of her

We call this in psychiatry- rotten family syndrome.Between her useless ,self absorbed mother and her money grabbing -no character father, she is doomed.Rotten family with no one helping any body else and extremely poor judgement by all .Rotten.......
