in American Culture Studies (CEPACS)

The Center for Electronic Projects in American Culture Studies (CEPACS) was founded in 1994 to coordinate and develop a range of electronic projects related to interdisciplinary studies in the culture and history of the United States.

CEPACS supports a range of projects affiliated with the Georgetown University American Studies Program, and is the primary development site for the American Studies Crossroads Project, sponsored by the American Studies Association. CEPACS is also the development site for the Electronic Archives for Teaching the American Literatures.

CEPACS is supported and funded by the American Studies Program at Georgetown University. CEPACS is also sponsored by the D.C. Heath Publishing company.

The Center for Electronic Projects in American Culture Studies is currently staffed by a director and five student interns.
