Assessment of Securities Settlement in Sweden 2009

26/05/2010 The Riksbank and Finansinspektionen have jointly assessed securities settlement in Sweden during 2009. In the 2009 assessment Euroclear Sweden complies with all the assessed recommendations, one recommendation was not applicable and one was not assessed. Both public authorities support the conclusions in the assessment.   Read more

Riksbank's risk survey spring 2010

26/05/2010 The assessment of the participants in the Swedish fixed-income and foreign exchange markets in March and April was that the sovereign debt problems in Europe constituted a high risk to the financial markets in both the long and short run. This is revealed by the Riksbank's risk survey carried out in March and April. According to the respondents, the financial crisis peaked between autumn 2008 and spring 2009.   Read more

Coin to commemorate the wedding of Crown Princess Victoria and Daniel Westling

10/05/2010 The Riksbank is issuing a commemorative coin to celebrate the wedding of Crown Princess Victoria and Daniel Westling on 19 June 2010. A silver coin will be issued in the denomination of SEK 300 and a gold coin in the denomination of SEK 4,000.    Read more
