The Role
Bloomberg is seeking an IT Governance Risk and Compliance Analyst to join the Information Security Group. This position will act as our primary representative in handling Information Security and Security compliance issues, business and client inquiries, and industry best practices. Responsibilities of the role will include partnering with Legal and Compliance on potential regulatory issues and proper use of the Bloomberg product line. The person in this role will be the primary contact for vendor and key relationship risk assessments and reviews. The analyst will manage incident response and coordination, and follow up on policy violations. In addition, this role will interact with local business units to determine appropriate security measures. The successful candidate will keep abreast of the latest security and privacy legislation, regulations, and advisories.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or advance degree in Computer Science is required
- A minimum of five to seven years experience in the information security, information
technology or related field is required
- Some business travel required to accommodate onsite audits and/or reviews
- Professional certification in CISSP, CISA or equivalent is highly desired
- Experience in information security program development is highly desired
- Working knowledge and experience in policy and regulatory environment of information security
- Knowledge of the financial markets and related industries
- Superior project management skills
- Excellent Communication Skills (both verbal and written)
- Ability to work collaboratively with a broad range of constituencies is essential
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Interact and perform in a professional manner
- Ability to work well in a team environment
