The Role
The Deputy Director of Public Relations for Bloomberg Government will be responsible for helping enhance the company's image as a creator of innovative products and solutions through strategic and effective branding and external communications. Working closely with the PR Director, the successful candidate will assist, and frequently take the lead, on BGOV communications and advertising, events, product positioning and marketing.

Specific responsibilities include:
- Develop and execute proactive strategies, programs, and tactics that help increase sales and revenue
- Proactively and positively position the company in the marketplace and show differentiation from competitors
- Develop and execute strategies to increase company's visibility and enhance its internal and external reputation
- Develop, implement and maintain appropriate metrics to evaluate impacts and effectiveness of external communications
- Manage relationships and work product of outside marketing and PR firms working for the company

Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in marketing, pr or related disciplines
- 3-5 years of demonstrated experience in developing and implementing proactive marketing and communications strategies
- Highly intuitive, good listener and aggressive worker and problem-solver who is comfortable being a change agent in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment;
- Seeing opportunities and offering solutions. Has a fearless approach to taking on something new, gaining internal alignment and support for it, and then driving it over the finish line.
