Assistantships
Each year OSU awards more than $15 million in stipends to graduate assistants, graduate teaching assistants, and graduate research assistants. Students in all three types of positions receive full waivers of the out-of-state portion of tuition for all courses taken. Graduate students in Communication Sciences and Disorders typically receive a graduate assistantship for 10 hours during their first year in graduate school. Once students are accepted into the graduate program they will receive an application for assistantship. The decision to award assistantships is competitive and based on merit.
