Graduate Students
The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders offers a Master of Science degree in speech-language pathology. The program emphasizes the integration of evidence based academic and clinical knowledge and skills. The curriculum provides in depth study of speech, language and hearing disorders across the life span and is combined with a series of dynamic clinical rotations. Graduates of the program have accepted positions in a variety of clinical settings including public schools, clinics, hospitals, rehabilitation centers, special schools, and private practices, or have gone on to pursue their Ph.D’s.
The master's program in Communication Sciences and Disorders is accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
