Bradley, a member of the Philosophy Department at Georgetown University since 1972, and, formerly, a Fellow of the American Academy in Rome (1970-72), received his B.A. from the Assumption University of Windsor (Canada), M.A. from the University of Chicago, and Ph.D. from the University of Toronto.
He has written articles and continues to do research on the history of the faith-reason problematic in the Middle Ages, on Aquinas's ethics and metaphysics, the latter's relationship to post-Kantian transcendental philosophy, and the Thomistic implications of philosophical pluralism. In the area of Thomistic ethics, Professor Bradley has published a book entitled "Aquinas on the Twofold Human Good: Reason and Human Happiness in Aquinas's Moral Science." Education
