Math & science general education requirement and Spring 2010 courses

The Math/Science requirement may be fulfilled by completing two courses in either of the following two patterns:

1. Any introductory sequence for the major:

  • Biology (BIOL 103 and 104),
  • Chemistry (CHEM 001 and 009, 002 and 010) or (CHEM 001 and 057, 002 and 058)
  • Computer Science (COSC 071 and 072),
  • Mathematics (MATH 035 and 036) or (MATH 035 and 040)
  • Physics (PHYS 041 and 042) or (PHYS 105 and 108) 

2. Two courses for non-majors: one from Biology, Chemistry, or Physics and the other from Computer Science or Math

(note: you can search in the Schedule of Classes for this requirement by selecting "College/NonMaj Math/Cosc" or "College/NonMaj Bio/Chem/Phys" under Attribute Type)
