Gervase Hall was built as an infirmary in two sections, in 1830 and 1848 and is named for Brother Thomas Gervase, who sailed from England on the Ark and the Dove along with Fathers White and Gravenor. Brother Gervase was the first Temporal Coadjutor in the Maryland Mission.
