Staying Connected

Georgetown E-Newsletters

Georgetown publishes numerous e-newsletters designed to keep you up to date on announcements and events at its various schools and departments.

  • Georgetown Today is the monthly e-newsletter for alumni, parents and friends of Georgetown. In addition to news and features, there is a calendar of club events in cities across the nation, a section listing services and programs for alumni, and much more. The career services webinars have generated so much interest that we have expanded our offerings. Sign up for the newsletter.

  • Much more can be found at the alumni web site, Georgetown Alumni Online. That’s where you can find class Web sites and regional club contacts. Don’t miss the new Living History—stories about alumni perpetuating Georgetown’s mission. It complements our Witness to History, which features videos of alumni who have made or witnessed history.

  • Georgetown’s Office of Communications publishes a weekly e-newsletter, GU in the News, that is a compendium of news releases, announcements of upcoming events and Georgetown faculty who have been quoted in national media.

  • Georgetown schools publish their own e-newsletters as well. Business graduates can sign up for McDonough School of Business E-News and Walsh School of Foreign Service alumni can get weekly updates via a sign-up link on the school’s home page. Websites for the College, the School of Nursing & Health Studies and the Medical and Law centers showcase their news and are easily accessed via our main Web page.

  • For our diehard Hoya sports fans, we have the monthly Inside Georgetown Athletics and the weekly Hoya Hoop Club News. Alumni can request to receive either by e-mailing hoyasunlimited@georgetown.edu.

  • Many alumni who live in the Washington, D.C., area may appreciate receiving notices of upcoming productions on campus by our talented students and faculty and appearances by visiting artists. The Department of Performing Arts offers an e-mail list.

  • Campus clergy produce a Mission and Ministry e-newsletter chock-full of news on faith-based events on campus. E-mail mmnewsletter@georgetown.edu to be added to the recipient list.
