1. Woodrow Wilson Library

Date: Monday June 7, 2010

Time: 3:00 - 5:00 PM

Location: Woodrow Wilson Library, Meeting Room 2. 6101 Knollwood Drive, Falls Church, VA. For a map, click here.

 

2. MLK Library

Date: Monday June 14, 2010

Time: 4:30 - 6:30 PM.

Location: Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Library (MLK), Room A-10. 901 G St. N.W., Washington, DC 20001. For a map, click here. The Library is walking distance from the Gallery Place and Metro Center metrorail stations.

 

3. GU Open House

Date: Sunday June 27, 2010

Time: 1:00 - 4:00 PM. (The Director will give a presentation at 1:15pm and repeat it at 2:45pm.)

Location: Mortara Center for International Studies, 3600 N Street NW, Washington, DC 20057.

Parking: Free street parking. Free parking also available at Georgetown University's Southwest Garage (enter via Canal Road).

Public Transportation: The closest Metrorail stops are Rosslyn on the Blue/Orange Line and Dupont Circle on the Red Line. From Rosslyn, take the 38B Metrobus to 34th and M St NW. From Dupont Circle, take the G-2 Metrobus to 37th and O St NW, or the D-2 bus to 35th and Q St NW. Click here for the Metro Trip Planner as well as bus schedules. Is EHLS the program for you?

Do all the following requirements apply to you?

  • Native speaker with professional-level proficiency in Arabic, Dari, Farsi, Hausa, Hindi, Igbo, Mandarin, Pashto, Punjabi, Somali, Swahili or Urdu
  • Advanced proficiency in English
  • U.S. citizenship
  • College degree
  • Ability to commit to full-time daytime study for 6 months at Georgetown University followed by two months part-time online study
  • Willingness to work for the federal government for 1 year
