Research Methods and Statistics Resources

Research - All elements of research methods: ethics, types of experiments, and basic definitions.

Statistics - Basic statistic definitions and links to tutorials on both inferential and descriptive statistics. Within each statistic tutorial, you'll find an explanation section, a calculation (by hand, including formulas and examples) section, and computation (how-to on Excel and SPSS) section.

Computer - Tutorial of the basic operations in Excel and SPSS.

Formulas - A list of each statistical test covered in PSYC-002, its formula, and how to apply it.

Examples - Contemporary, classic, and student studies of research methods.

Writing - APA-style references, plus what goes on in a research proposal and journal article. (Under construction)

Links - Helpful links to different psychology-related websites, plus other online tutorial pages.

Glossary - A database of all the terms highlighted in this page. A-L | M-Z
