Al Jazeera Blogs (http://blogs.aljazeera.net) has recently been launched. This is the first major website that we've launched that is based on opensource CMS called Drupal 6.

We are extremely excited about this project because we have incorporated many cool social tools, such as facebook connect and disqus. Also, we've enabled opencalais to semantically tag our blog posts.

The Al Jazeera IM Bot allows you to get breaking news sent to your email or IM client.

Currently, the service is available on the following IM services:
1. MSN: aj.breaking@live.com
2. Google Talk: aj.breaking@gmail.com
3. Jabber: aj.breaking@bot.im

Soon, we will be adding AIM and Yahoo.
