Pre-Orientation Programs

Before joining us for NSO, get involved at Georgetown through one of five Pre-Orientation Programs. For dates and more information, check out each program’s individual website. Pre-Orientation applications (except for PEP) are due by Friday, June 11, 2010.

Programs for Freshmen and Transfers:

Preparing for Excellence Program (PEP): Free program open to 28 Freshmen and Transfers students. Through outings in D.C., workshops, and help from mentors, PEP gives you the head start you need to not just survive at Georgetown but thrive! The application is due July 1st. Georgetown Outdoor Pre-Orientation Program (GOPOP): Open to Freshmen & Transfer students with multiple trips focusing on outdoor adventures. Click for more info.

First Year Orientation to Community Involvement (FOCI): Open to 54 Freshmen & Transfer students with a focus on volunteer work and service. Click for more info.

Leadership and Beyond: Open to 20 Freshmen with a focus on leadership skills. Click for more info.

Young Leaders in Education about Diversity (YLEAD): Open to Freshmen with a focus on diversity and social justice. Click for more info.
