Svetlana Mironyuk has served as general director of Russian News and Information Agency "Novosti" since 2003. In addition to her current position, Mironyuk has held several important posts in the media industry, including deputy head of the Directorate for Information-analytic Provision, Public and Media Relations of Gruppa Most and Media-Most; and vice-president of KROS public relations development company. She is a graduate of Moscow State University.
