Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies

It is never too late to earn a Georgetown degree. Students enrolled in the Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies degree at Georgetown come from every age group and every life situation. Most are working professionals. All students in the Liberal Studies program share an eagerness to advance their understanding of the world and develop the tools they need to reach their life goals. All have learned that, with the extensive support of the Georgetown community, they can earn the degree they always wanted.

The program is designed for nontraditional students who want an engaging academic experience that is flexible and convenient. Georgetown offers a wealth of resources to facilitate the transition back into such a rigorous program of study. Courses and individual help are available to polish writing, logic, and rhetoric skills. Academic advisors and faculty mentors provide one-on-one counseling and direction. The Writing Center offers students help to bring their writing to a level that will advance their success both in school and on the job. Additional informal encounters, such as late-night study breaks held in the library, provide more opportunities for individual interaction with faculty members. Once you become a Georgetown student, you have access to an entire community committed to seeing you succeed.
