Becoming a Baker

Interested in the Baker Scholars Program? Here's how and why to apply.

Who are the Baker Scholars?

The Baker Scholars encompass a large variety majors and career interests—sophomores from every academic major in the College may apply. Candidates demonstrate a strong academic record and a dedication to service. To be a Baker Scholar, one must also demonstrate an active interest in business. Though all Bakers are motivated and talented in different ways, there are no benchmarks or standards used in their selection.

Why become a Baker Scholar?

Every Baker-sponsored activity is done in the spirit of contribution and service. Because the Baker Program affords so many opportunities for success in the business world, it grounds itself in its core mission to use business as a mechanism for change, progress, and opportunity.
