Discuss your options with our pre-law advisor, who can help you create a list of possible schools, review resumes and personal statements, and guide you through the application process. Check our event calendar at http://careerweb.georgetown.edu for a schedule of law-related workshops and events, or stop by our front desk to schedule a pre-law walk-in or a one-on-one appointment. You can also view a video of our pre-law advisor's Whether, When, and How to Apply to Law School workshop online.

WALK-INS AND WORKSHOPS

Walk-in Appointments
Sign up for a 15-minute same-day walk-in session. Offered Tuesdays through Fridays on a first-come, first-served basis, walk-in appointments enable you to ask quick questions, have your resume and cover letter reviewed, get job search advice, or learn more about our services.

Mock Interviews
Want to practice your interviewing techniques? Take part in a mock interview and review your performance with a staff member or employer to see what you do well and where you need to improve. Ask about scheduling a mock interview at the Career Education Center's front desk on the first floor of the Leavey Center, and keep an eye on our event calendar for opportunities to practice interviewing with employers. You can also practice interviewing on your own using InterviewStream. All you need is a computer with an internet connection and a Webcam. Employers looking for Georgetown students and alumni list jobs and internships on Hoya Career Connection. Create your profile, upload your resume and apply for positions in a variety of career fields from employers who conduct interviews on-campus and off-campus. Access additional job and internship search tools under the Prepare to Job Hunt, Find an Internship and Find a Job sections of our Web site.

iNet
Are you looking for an internship? Georgetown is part of the iNet Internship Network, which shares opportunities from all over the country with students of eight leading universities (including Georgetown, MIT, NYU, Northwestern, Rice, and Stanford). The network is a supplement to Hoya Career Connection and offers a wide range of industries and locations.

On-Campus Interviewing
Many employers come to campus every year for in-person interviews with students. To participate in any of these on-campus interviews, you must first attend an on-campus interviewing workshop. If you do not attend an on-campus interviewing workshop, you will not be able to apply for jobs or internships involving an on-campus interview. We strongly recommend that all juniors and seniors attend if you have not already done so. Check the workshop schedule on our event calendar.
