Newspapers seize publication during Eid holiday

Baghdad (NINA) –Most of the Iraqi daily newspapers seized publication on Thursday for the occasion of the Eid al-Fitr Holiday.

Newspapers will resume publication on next Tuesday due to announcement by the Council of Ministers over starting the Eid holiday from Thursday, Sept., 9, till next Monday.

The Sunni Endowment announced that “Thursday will be the 30th day of Ramadan and next Friday will be the first day of the Eid al-Fitr. /End/
