Baghdad (NINA) –The Iraqi Junior Football Team will play its first match against Bahrain on Sunday afternoon within the course of the Finals of the Asian Juniors Cup.
A report from Xhibu Chinese city, where the match will be held, stated that “The Iraqi team is among the teams to compete on the cup since it won five titles and came first in its group while the Bahraini team came third in the same group.”
The first day of competitions witnesses holding four matches from the first and second groups when China, the hosting team, will face KSA team, Uzbekistan plays against Korea, Thailand plays against Syrian team and Iraq will meet its Bahraini team at 12:30 a.m. BLT.
The finals which comprise 16 teams competing on four tickets to the World Cup as well as the title of the Championship will last till October 17th. /End/
