Consumer Price Index (CPI)

Consumer price index covers the consumption of the entire population of the country. Prices used in the index are regular prices paid by the public.

Consumer Price Index (CPI) August 2010

The inflation rate was 0.9 percent in August (1.1 percent in July). Adjusted for the direct effect of the decrease in interest rates (CPIF), the August inflation rate was 1.4 percent. The Swedish Consumer Price Index was unchanged from July to August (0.2 percent in August 2009). The CPI for August of 2010 was 302.06 (1980=100).  Read the entire press release
