About this capture
Iranian trainee journalists – image gallery
The BBC World Service Trust runs an online journalism training course for Iran and Afghanistan called ZigZag. This project creates an online platform called ZigZag Academy that teaches online journalism to aspiring Iranian and Afghan journalists. The overall objective of the project is to promote freedom of expression and widen the scope for media diversity through user participation. Social networking and interaction opportunities are the new elements added to this online platform.
In this gallery, the budding journalists from Iran and Afghanistan have created signs and artwork to reflect their ongoing involvement with the ZigZag Academy online journalism training course.
