This section contains answers to the most frequently asked questions about Economist Store. It will resolve most of the queries you have.
The Economist is published weekly, 51 times a year, with the Christmas double issue remaining on sale for two weeks. The issue is dated Saturday and goes on sale each Friday.
The World In is an annual publication. It is published in November and is on sale until March. The magazine is a compilation of predictions of the year to come, and is written by Economist journalists and other writers.

You can create an account in two ways; from the homepage or after you have proceeded to check out.
Once registered, you will only need to enter your e-mail address and password to order again.
Follow these steps:
- On The Economist Store homepage, select "My account" from the top left-right corner.
- You will then be asked if you are a registered user or if you are a new user, select "create a new account"
- You will be asked to enter your personal details and delivery address, and confirm your e-mail address and password.
- Having registered successfully, you will receive a confirmation e-mail.
You are not committed to purchasing a product from The Economist Store until you have completed the order process. However, if you are ordering a magazine or periodicals eg The World in, The Economist, Intelligent Life, orders are non-refundable and cannot be cancelled once placed. You are entitled to cancel orders of other products. For further details please see the Terms and conditions.
You will get an e-mail once we've received your order. We will notify you by telephone, letter or e-mail in case there is a problem with your order.
Click on the "Forgotten your password?" link on the log-in page and enter your e-mail address.
Click on "My account" on the top menu bar. Click on "update my email". To change your e-mail address or reset your password, simply input your new details and click "Update your details"
Prices displayed include delivery costs and taxes (where applicable). Any discount to the normal issue cover price will be explained. If you pay for your individual copy using any non-local currency the price you pay will be dependant on the exchange rate of your credit card company and may fluctuate.
Your purchase should arrive within twelve days of the date we received your order. If you do not receive your item within this time please contact us.
