Baghdadi, Schroder discuss investment in Libya

The secretary of the Libyan general people's committee, Dr Baghdadi Mahmoudi, on Tuesday evening in Tripoli, held talks with former German chancellor, Gerhard Schroder who is leading an economic delegation to Libya.

The meeting, attended by the secretary of the Libyan general people's committee for Planning and Finance, Abdelhadifh Zlitni, tackled the participation of German companies in the implementation of common investment projects, particularly in the medical and technical training sectors.

The two parties agreed to examine the setting up of mechanisms on holding technical and technological fairs and events in both countries.

Secretary Industry, Economy and Trade, Mohamed Haweij, has also held talks with former German chancellor and the German economic aimed at creating investment projects.
