The Open Society Foundations website is designed to provide easy access to Foundations news, articles, publications, events, grant information, and more. The site is primarily organized around initiatives, which include grantmaking and operating programs, as well as fellowships and scholarships, and which are aggregated in the site by issue and region. Initiatives can be accessed by pulldowns at the bottom of every page. For more information, please see the site map.

The Open Society Foundations include Open Society Institutes in New York, Budapest, London, Paris, and Brussels, as well as country and regional foundations active in more than 70 countries around the world. Each is a distinct entity that is separately organized and operated, while cooperating informally with other Open Society foundations. This website, a joint presentation, is intended to present each of the foundations’ unique activities.
