Donations to Gov. Patrick per 1,000 residents

Deval Patrick raised $3.9 million between Jan. 1 and Nov. 2 in his successful run for governor. Snapshot looked at giving per 1,000 residents from Massachusetts communities. Towns such as Weston, Sherborn, Lincoln, Brookline, Wayland, and Wellesley came up big. For instance, Weston residents gave about $4,200 per 1,000 residents.
