Research News, a portal into the rich array of research at Georgetown College, is proud to announce a revised focus for the publication.
For the past two years, Research News has concentrated specifically on profiling faculty research in the sciences, to build support for scientific teaching and research as crucial components of Georgetown University's current fundraising campaign. Our publication is now shifting its focus beyond the sciences to present the exciting research happening in the College across all disciplines, including the humanities, interdisciplinary studies, languages and linguistics, the social sciences, and the sciences.
Research News will continue to highlight the research advancements taking place in our midst and feature faculty collaborations with students that distinctively mark the Georgetown College teaching and research community. The organization of the Research News site remains the same, with new category names indicative of our new focus (the complete science content is still available in the archives).
We hope that you enjoy this look into the diverse research in a variety of fields taking place at Georgetown College.
