Ice formations around a garden pond. Sent in by David Sawkins.
Untreated surfaces in the north quickly turned icy as the front cleared during the early morning, then the risk of ice extended to the south of the UK before nightfall.

November was a month of contrasts as the first week saw some unusually warm days and nights and ended with the most significant spell of snow in November since 1965.
