Brain Scans Predict If Talk Therapy Will Work for Anxious Children

Psychiatric medicine may be avoided for children with anxiety disorders if a brain scan shows they are likely to respond to "talk therapy," according to neuroscientists from Georgetown’s Medical Center.

Georgetown Celebrates the Holiday Season

Georgetown University celebrated the holiday season with gatherings that embraced the richness of its community, from the annual tree lighting ceremony, to the lighting of menorah by the Jewish Chaplaincy and the Jewish Student Association (JSA) to a Kwanzaa dinner sponsored by the Black Student Alliance (BSA).
