New Summer Course: FMST-350 Film Festival Studies- SILVERDOCS

In FMST-350, we will study film festivals through a unique immersive engagement with the 2011 AFI-Discovery Channel Silverdocs Documentary Festival. After spending time considering important historical and theoretical questions raised by film festivals, students will gain access to a major international film festival. Students will have opportunities to learn about film festivals from the inside, learning from Silverdocs professional staff and volunteers to plan and execute the festival.
