CQ Roll Call’s Sales department seeks an outstanding outside sales professional. Candidates must have exceptional organizational skills and the ability to function effectively in a fast-paced, deadline oriented, high-demand sales environment. Must be a team player and manage high-pressure situations and multiple tasks simultaneously. Experience in print and digital sales, publishing, and communications is preferred. Great affinity for legislation, politics and public policy a plus.
The ideal candidate is highly professional, assertive, possesses a mature and positive attitude especially when dealing with colleagues, customers, vendors and other corporate contacts. Must have Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook experience.
Job responsibilities include all aspects of facilitating client relationships by working together with their Inside Sales Representative, the Account Manager, and the Managers to get the most they can out of their territory. The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for variety of sales related issues at CQ Roll Call. Requirements include selling the appropriate level of new sales in order to meet and exceed the quota set on their territory. The Representative also has to get a minimum level percentage wise of existing renewals in their territory to continue to subscribe to the services in both print and electronic services.
