Research at Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business investigates critical issues and advances solutions to pressing challenges facing global business.

Working collaboratively in an interdisciplinary environment, Georgetown faculty and students assume active leadership roles in shaping contemporary theory and practice in finance, international business, and public policy arenas.

Center for Financial Institutions, Policy, and Governance
The Center for Financial Institutions and Public Policy at Georgetown University offers an array of research, commentary, and dialogue regarding critical public policy issues relating to financial markets. Housed at the Georgetown’s McDonough School of Business, the Center sponsors original research, provides thoughtful commentary, and hosts dialogues and conferences involving scholars and practitioners on key financial market issues. Through these activities, the center enriches the intellectual life of the University and the Washington-based policy community,  and contributes to an informed public discussion regarding critical financial market debates.

Center for Business & Public Policy
The Georgetown Center for Business and Public Policy is a non-partisan research center that encourages dialogue, documentation, and dissemination of knowledge on a range of issues in the public interest confronting American and international businesses today. Senior Policy Fellows at the Center for Business & Public Policy contribute to current economic policy issues through both shorter economic policy vignettes and longer, more detailed academic papers examining competition and innovation.

Georgetown University Women's Leadership Initiative
By promoting the development and advancement of women leaders, Georgetown University’s Women’s Leadership Initiative contributes to the social and economic progression of women across the world. Ongoing programs include forums for dialogue, skill-building workshops, and support networks to address the intellectual and practical needs of women leaders.
