On April 25, Robin Young presented at a Business Association of Latin American Studies conference on competitiveness in Latin America. Invited to present at the association’s annual conference in Costa Rica, Young outlined the history of microfinance in Latin America, DAI’s experience in the region, challenges to successful lending, and opportunities presented by effective microfinance activities.
