Dr. Orient; You left one dangerous item about Arizona out of your article: ILLEGAL ALIENS. They are killing, maiming, and beheading along Arizona's border. The Governor passed a law to stop this INVASION of America across our Southern Border. Former Governor knows but denies there is a problem. President Obama sends his "handpuppet" Holder to appeal Governor Brewer's law in Arizona Federal Court (the SAME court the assassinated judge presided over). The blame and the fault regarding the "Tucson Tragedy" lies wholly at President Obama's "doorstep"; HE is the cause of the Deaths and the Injuries; His "do nothing" demeanor and "always late to the party" attitude during his entire two year time in office "SHOUTS" his inexperience and ineptitude. Furthermore, his White House administration is unfit to run even a McDonald's franchise; campaign, campaign, campaign,...that's all the Obama minions think about...and they're not even too good at that job...even Axelrod was once fired from John Edward's campaign. These people are without doubt minion-morons with way more power than they can effectively handle.....disgraceful, the whole bunch and a "blot" on America.

Here's an idea! Don't say things that are ludicrous AND hateful and (A) you won't be criticized and (B) people other than political cult members might pay attention.
.
Less paranoia. Better QC on what escapes your mouth.

Indeed, this tragedy, one of many that have stained this great nation, has been set as a benchmark for tragedy by many of the media. Most such incidents eventually fall to the wayside when another tragedy strikes. Tucson, however, will be exploited by the left-wing talking-heads, the likes of CNN, MSNBC etc. to spread bilious misinformation, with the hope of undermine those right of center. If one does not agree with the diktat of liberals, one is deemed as an ill-educated, country bumpkin. Moreover, it is they, the liberals, who are superior of intellect, whilst all others are mere amoebas by comparison.

Censorship is another darling of many lefties… of course, solely for those whom battle or debate their policies. I cannot imagine having to watch the like of Keith Olbermann to as my sole source for a daily dose of vitriolic drivel.

Anything the left is against is now fair game, beause they ar in "Blame the right" mode. They must be histerical about the last election. This guilt by association has to stop, and hopefully this stuff will back fire on the purveyors. There is a good article on www.freemarketsfreepeople.net, "Breaking Political Guilt by Association"

I think the author hits the nail on the head and the radical union democrats who want to turn this human crisis into more jobs. Perry King, homeland Defense has proposed setting up a 1,000 foot gun free area around identified persons of significance. Assuming he thinks he's one. That would necessitate placing crews of Homeland Defense hirees around the country roadies with those d!@# invasive machines and procedures. Something the radicals on the O team (Not to be confused with liberals.) have been trying to institute since Bloomberg went off half-cocked and attempted to steer a car bomber attempt toward white supremists. It is disingenuos, if we need that kind of security, unproven, it was originally necessary to counter the Islamic radical threat. Now they are taking that threat sideways out of context, give Muslims wearing the veil elitist exemption from such invasive searches and meanwhile no one feels safer for the effort, recognizing it for what it is, useless and an obstruction to dealing with the real threat Militant Islam.
Since Bloomberg's search for a white supremist failed to turn one up, and now that this "skin head" looking white male committed an act, they have to find cause to make it political. Meanwhile, they ignored every indicator the shooter at Fort hood was radically motivated by the Ulema to commit a terrorist act in the name of Islam and we still get this lopsided pro-sharia compliant behaviour from another government union organization that has done little more than spent millions to criminalize every passenger on a plane.
We need to be reminded it's the passengers themselves that have been catching the terrorists and the failed measures of the TSA Perry wants to install across America had nothing to do with it.

Excellent! One of the two best articles I've read on the tragedy so far. Let's focus on the heroes, what went right and of course the shooter far more embraced the values of the left than the right. Why didn't Sheriff Stupnik condemn the violence spewing out of the nation's televisions and movie theatres 24/7, violent video games or the lyrics to the awful music our precious children are allowed to listen to? Yes, if we worshipped God instead of our cell phones, i-pods and Facebook ,the way we were created to, this man would never have done this.

I think caring for others has always been there but not recognized by all. A good article.

Conventional wisdom so often misses the mark. While it is logical to think that right-wing rants animated the shooter, it increasingly seems that their influence was minimal, if any. Still, we'll have to give it a couple months to better understand. But even IF those rants motivated the shooter, a handful of incidents is no reason to get too excited.
.
Still, it would be a service to the nation if Mr. Obama's critics became more credible and ceased slobbering out ridiculous assertions (e.g. communist, marxist, traitor, socialist, foreign born). That means doing the homework and engaging in more thought and less fantasy. The folks who slap on the labels come across like the shooter, unbalanced. They're lazy and betray personal insecurity - the mad-as-spit attacks seem to compensate for a lack of personal achievement..
.
Besides, "Argument 101" dictates that, to win over converts to your side, you must concede and confront facts that seem to counter yours. Thus, for instance, it was easy to pick on George W - he'll cost us $3 trillion just on two misbegotten wars, alone. But it is worth noting that, however ill-fitting a presidency was for the man, he is (or has become) a decent guy and a devout Christian.

I can understand all that Dr. Orient has said and agree that we, as a nation must get back to the ideals which our country was founded upon. There is one or two points that many either fail to recognize or refuse to accept; that is faith and prayers, and one more; truly following the teachings of Almighty God and Jesus Christ as found in The Holy Bible. I.E., The Ten Commandments.

People who have mental or emotional problems need help and whenever we notice anyone that acts or behaves strangely we should be comfortable enough with our elected officials/public servants to report same without fear of recrimination or being accused of 'butting in'. Really, we need to stop pointing fingers and extend a helping hand. If we could show love for one another, like we do our dogs, cats, etc..

But then, not being perfect,I'll just say; "There, but for the Grace of God go I"... and you, and you, and you: etc., etc.,etc..
